Timmy O’Connell is a 7 year old boy who was diagnosed last Fall with an aggressive brain tumor known as pineoblastoma. He has had an arduous journey ever since facing brain surgery, radiation and most recently, chemotherapy. Timmy’s spirit and energy have been amazing through all of his struggles.
Timmy - who attends Millennium School in Tinley Park - is the youngest of 5 children. His parents, Noelle (McDonough) and Tim have been tireless volunteers and supporters at school (Millennium and Prairie View), scouts and with the Bobcats organization. Tim is a hardworking electrician in Local 134. Noelle was volunteering and teaching at Millennium and had to pass up a full time opportunity to take care of Timmy.
The entire family is extremely grateful for the love and support the community, their family and friends have poured upon them. With this benefit, we hope to raise awareness of brain cancer and childhood cancer as well as help ease the financial burden on the family due to medical bills and loss of income. Please come out to Bourbon Street on June 22nd to help us help the O’Connells!
